This research-based temporary art practice aims to unfold the layer of the current city landscape from the view of a historical site and alert people to the trend of history will repeat if more and more human beings choose to disguise injustice.

 

This designed road sign disappeared after we installed it on a pole nearby the test spot in Harvard Business School 2 weeks later, in Jan 2020. 

 

Napalm was invented at Harvard in the early 1940s. In 1942, Harvard scientists conducted the first test of a napalm bomb in a pond dug behind the Business School. It has been widely used in both the air and ground role, with the largest use to date being via air-dropped bombs in World War II (most notably in the devastating incendiary attacks on Japanese cities in 1945), and later close air support roles in Korea and Vietnam. Printed QR sticker attached behind the sign services as an information outreach to passersby
